No, the agreement made to you by FedEx and UPS includes an on-time delivery guarantee. If this is not met, they promise to refund your shipping costs. You are not receiving any extra benefits. This is part of their commitment to you for using their services.

Not a thing. The refunds we inform you about have already been credited to your FedEx or UPS account, as follows:

FedEx:

• If the shipment in question has been paid for, FedEx will issue a refund either via a mailed check or a credit to the card used for payment. If the shipment hasn't been paid for, simply deduct the refund amount from your next invoice payment.

UPS:

• UPS will apply a credit to your upcoming invoice. Our email will detail the specific invoice number where the refund has been credited.

A FedEx or UPS account credit notification will be sent to you with the full amount credited. We do not take any portion of your refund, it goes straight to your account. At the end of each month, we invoice you for our portion.

USPS:

For Priority Mail, if a package is late, customers can track the package, submit a Missing Mail search request if it's not delivered after 7 business days, or request a refund for Priority Mail Express if it wasn't delivered by the guaranteed time​​​​.

UPS:

If a UPS package is not delivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and time, a claim can be initiated. The sender or receiver needs to contact UPS customer service for a tracking update. If the package is deemed lost, UPS will reimburse the sender for the value of the package after a detailed claim process, which may take up to 8 business days to investigate​​.

FedEx:

FedEx considers a package lost if seven days have passed from the estimated delivery date for both domestic (which usually takes 2 to 5 business days) and international shipments (which can take 1 to 2 weeks)​​.

DHL:

To file a cargo claim with DHL for a lost package, you should contact DHL directly, provide the necessary information including tracking number, shipping date, and value of contents, submit your claim, and then track the status of your claim. The company's liability is limited, and unless you've purchased value protection (insurance), the maximum exposure is typically limited to $100 depending on the shipment and country of origin​​.

Certainly, you have the option to claim these guaranteed refunds yourself. However, many businesses don't pursue them because:

• They're unaware of late shipments unless a complaint is made.
• The administrative burden of claiming refunds is daunting.

• Review and understand the carriers' service guarantees.
• Track every package, to get an Estimated and Actual Delivery Date/Time for each package.
• Compare dates to spot any service delays and/or failures.
• Verify each late shipment for exceptions that might nullify the guarantee, all within the carrier's 15-day dispute timeframe.
• Confirm that refunds are correctly applied to your account.
• Repeat these steps for each and every package, consistently.

Absolutely not. Your arrangement with FedEx and UPS inherently covers an on-time delivery assurance. Failure to meet this leads to a pledged reimbursement of your shipping fees.
